In 2004 I visited Japan. I absolutly loved the country. It's beautiful, rich in culture, and the people are so polite. I go back in a heartbeat. However, yes they do have some trends that strike Americans as odd. For example, the latest trend in Japan is for women to get their teeth scrambled! Where we Americans are all about perfect teeth, the Jpanese are screwing theirs up! They feel that it makes them more approchable becuase they look less perfect!
